Mainline Aviation, an Atlanta-based leader in airline catering and in-flight dining services, has officially expanded operations into Tennessee with the launch of a brand-new facility in Nashville. This marks the company’s first major move outside of Georgia and reflects its continued growth and ambition to provide top-tier service to domestic and, soon, international airlines.
“This is a major milestone that marks a significant moment in our evolution,” said Steve Lenderman, CEO of Mainline Aviation. “This expansion speaks to our dedication toward innovation and operational excellence. In addition to adding new job opportunities to the greater Nashville area, we are also looking forward to supporting this new community and its various causes, as we have in our hometown of Atlanta.”
Located just minutes from Nashville International Airport, the new facility was transformed from a former restaurant building into a full-service food manufacturing, airline catering, and provisioning center. It is designed to support the growing needs of airline partners, including one of the largest U.S.-based carriers that Mainline Aviation has proudly served for years.
The expansion has already created approximately 20 new jobs, with more anticipated as the company onboards additional clients. The facility will not only serve domestic flights but is also preparing to offer international provisioning services by the end of 2025, allowing Mainline Aviation to further expand its global footprint.
Known for its farm-to-tray table approach, Mainline Aviation collaborates with award-winning chefs to provide high-quality meals for both economy and premium cabins. Their food solutions also include shelf-stable and charter-friendly options — making the company a comprehensive catering partner for the airline industry.
As Nashville continues to grow as a hub for tourism and travel, Mainline Aviation is proud to play a role in elevating the passenger experience.
